In each of the five 15-minute episodes, listeners are invited to delve into stories of remarkable encounters and experiences made possible by air travel. The journey begins with Guillaume, a heart surgeon and university professor, who recounts the transportation of the first human heart across the Atlantic from the West Indies to Paris aboard an Air France flight to save a patient’s life. Following his story is Mariel, an adopted child in the United States who reunites with her birth family in France as an adult. Then there’s Anna, who finds love after switching seats on a flight.
