APPOINTMENT
Aparium Hotel Group has announced a strategic addition to its executive leadership team. Hospitality veteran Paul Devitt has been appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the hotel group.

This appointment comes at a significant moment of brand evolution for Aparium. With recent hotel openings in Denver and Seattle (Populus), Alexandria (Hotel Heron), and Atlanta (Hotel Granada), this leadership move highlights the company’s focus on scaling with purpose, preserving creativity, culture, and individuality while expanding its national footprint.
Paul Devitt brings over three decades of leadership experience with some of the most renowned names in the hospitality industry. He joins Aparium following a 32-year tenure with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Americas.
Paul spearheaded performance strategy across all major segments of Hyatt’s business, including full-service managed hotels and a range of luxury, independent soft-branded, and hard-branded properties. He played a key role in the integration of Hyatt’s acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality, expanding the company’s presence in the lifestyle category and building its connection to independent-minded travelers. He also played a vital role in advancing Hyatt’s food and beverage strategy, helping to cultivate distinctive partnerships with emerging and locally celebrated chefs to create restaurant and bar experiences that felt thoughtful and rooted in community.
At Aparium, Paul Devitt will oversee operational performance and team development across the growing portfolio. His appointment marks a step forward in operational focus and strategic direction for the brand, supporting Aparium’s growth while maintaining the distinct character and sense of place that define its properties.
