The announcement that IndiGo has ordered 30 Airbus A350 widebody aircraft was made in May 2024 where the new fleet was to help expand IndiGo’s international network to long-haul destinations. As India is the world’s fastest-growing major aviation market, the A350 is perfectly positioned to serve the country’s aspirations for long-range travel.
