The cruise industry has resiliently expanded and endured in spite of economic challenges

Despite economic headwinds, the cruise sector has grown and persevered remarkably. As per the CLIA State of the Industry Report, there was an almost 7% growth in worldwide passenger traffic from 2019 to 31.7 million in 2023. Forecasts show that the number of passengers on ocean-going cruises will reach 106% of 2019 levels in 2024, with gross reservations increasing by more than 500% annually. By 2027, it is anticipated that there will be close to 40 million passengers. The Flying Returns programme Air India offers is ideally positioned to prosper in this thriving sector.
