AirAsia Supports Malaysian Armed Forces Mobility

AirAsia has established a charter service that includes special aircraft leasing with the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), effective until 1 August 2027. This initiative underscores AirAsia’s dedication to utilizing its extensive domestic network and frequent flights to deliver dependable and efficient transportation options for the ATM. The contract, valued at RM99.5 million, includes daily charters and specific charter arrangements, serving domestic routes across Malaysia.

AirAsia will assist in transporting ATM personnel via commercial flights from Monday to Friday for their duty and welfare travel, aligning with AirAsia’s regular flight timetable to ensure smooth integration and passenger convenience. Furthermore, a special charter service will be available, featuring the exclusive rental of an entire aircraft just for ATM personnel, keeping them separate from commercial travellers.
