Mercure Ax-les-Thermes – France: Opened June 2025. Mercure Ax-les-Thermes, located in the heart of the Pyrenees, is housed in the restored Château de Villemur, located high up in the village, near the thermal baths and the cable cars serving the Ax ski resort. Wooden features adorn the hotels’ rooms, yet also incorporate natural light creating a contemporary feel. Guests can enjoy Pyrenean cuisine at Restaurant Fedou, or relax at the spa with a sauna, jacuzzi, and herbal tea-room. There are also four versatile meeting rooms available for business occasions. Situated near the region’s famous thermal baths and ski resort cable cars, Mercure Ax-les-Thermes is an ideal base to explore the Pyrenees—a stunning mountain range known for its dramatic landscapes, as well as outdoor activities like hiking and skiing in the winter.
Hotel Madison Saint Jean de Luz – Handwritten Collection – France: Opened May 2025. Hotel Madison Saint Jean de Luz is part of the boutique but ever-growing Handwritten Collection. This collection seeks to emphasise unique hotel personalities and distinguish the brands’ properties through a distinctive aesthetic. In the case of Hotel Madison Sait Jean, the picturesque Basque coast of south-west France is demonstrated in the deep navy and red tones found in the building. Ideally located just steps from the beach and the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the hotel offers 32 rooms and three apartments in a beautifully restored building that blends period features with a contemporary design.
The hotel’s La Brasserie du Madison offers pastries, tapas platters and refreshments, which can also be enjoyed on an outdoor terrace. There is also a wellness area which includes an indoor pool, sauna, and massage room. Guests of the laid-back and historic fishing town can enjoy the vibrant markets, seaside promenade, and rich cultural heritage. Reflecting the hotel owner’s passion for running, guests can follow a selection of running trails curated by the team to explore the region while running.

Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre – Hungary: Opened May 2025. The distinguished Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre effortlessly combines historic Art Nouveau charm with the signature warmth of Swiss hospitality. Originally opened in 1911 as the Palace Hotel, the six-storey Art Nouveau landmark – designed by renowned architects Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab – was considered one of the most advanced hotels of its time. Its lobby, restaurant, staircase, lift, and corridors are now recognised as listed architectural heritage. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers refined interiors and an exceptional level of comfort while honouring its architectural legacy. The 227 newly refurbished rooms and suites strike a perfect balance between timeless elegance and contemporary convenience. Each has been carefully redesigned to include modern amenities, while retaining the historic character that reflects Budapest’s rich cultural past. With seven fully renovated meeting rooms and a total capacity for up to 300 guests, Mövenpick Budapest Centre is an ideal setting for business conferences, corporate gatherings, and private events.
ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas – Spain: Opened May 2025. ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas is ibis’ largest hotel in Spain, with 260 rooms across eight floors. Located in the Valdebebas district, the hotel offers free shuttle transport to Madrid-Barajas Airport, as well as major sports venues like Real Madrid City and the Atlético de Madrid’s Metropolitan Stadium. The hotel features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a 24-hour snack bar. Designed with a whimsical “Alice in Wonderland” theme, the property incorporates elements inspired by nature and magic. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast from 5am till 12pm, catering for all departures. Hatsy, the onsite restaurant also features Alice in Wonderland teapots as centre pieces. For ease, private underground parking is also available, providing a unique yet comfortable stay in a strategic location.

greet Marseille Chanot Vélodrome – France: Opened May 2025. greet Hôtel Marseille Parc Chanot Vélodrome is a modern, eco-friendly 3-star hotel located in Marseille’s Prado district, directly opposite the Parc Chanot exhibition centre and a five-minute walk to the Vélodrome stadium. Marseille, France’s oldest city and a bustling Mediterranean port, is known for its rich history, diverse culture, vibrant markets, and stunning coastal scenery. The hotel offers 116 air-conditioned rooms in various layouts, including options with terraces. Rooms are furnished with upcycled materials and local design elements. Guests have access to private parking, free Wi-Fi, and Le Greet Bar. The hotels’ strategic location is 15 minutes from St Charles train station, a kilometre from the Prado beaches, and close proximity to Marseille’s city centre, making it suitable for both business and leisure travellers.
Rocca a Mare Heraklion – Handwritten Collection – Greece: Opened May 2025. Rocca a Mare Heraklion – Handwritten Collection has opened as the brand’s first hotel in Greece. Located just 15 minutes from Heraklion city centre and close to Knossos Palace, the airport, and the port, the five-star beachfront hotel offers 36 rooms with natural light, a rooftop pool and cocktail bar. Rocca Bistro is the onsite Mediterranean restaurant serving dishes made with local ingredients. The hotel also hosts a fitness centre, adding to the wellness experience of the guests. Inspired by Crete’s Minoan heritage, the property reflects the personal style of its host through curated details and design. This opening is part of Handwritten Collection’s global expansion, with more than 25 hotels now open and further launches planned across Europe.

Fairmont Golden Prague: Opened April 2025. This April, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, announced the debut of Fairmont Golden Prague, bringing a new chapter to one of the city’s most iconic and historic buildings. Located at the gate of prestigious Pařížská Boulevard on the banks of the Vltava River, the hotel unveils a multi-million-euro renovation of the landmark building of brutalist architecture it occupies. The hotel features 320 elegant rooms, suites, and serviced residences, blending modernist aesthetics with warm tones of rich dark wood contrasted against lighter elements. Guests have an array of dining choices with six diverse locations to drink and dine in. On the rooftop, Zlata Praha offers a seasonally driven, fine dining experience complemented by breathtaking panoramic views of Prague. For a taste of modern Asian cuisine, Golden Eye presents a sleek cosmopolitan ambiance inspired by the 1970s, featuring stunning skyline views.
Bucharest Unirii Square – Handwritten Collection – Romania: Opened February 2025. Bucharest Unirii Square, Accor’s first Handwritten Collection property in Romania, is a stylish 4-star hotel located close to the city’s Old Town and just 1.5 km from the main Unirii Square. The hotel features 97 comfortable, modern rooms with subtle Arabic design elements, including curated postcard collections in each room. Guests can enjoy a coffee shop, a signature sports bar and a restaurant serving traditional Arab cuisine. The hotel also offers flexible meeting facilities, including a boardroom, a modular event space, and outdoor parking for easy transport options.

Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan – Indonesia: Opened May 2025. Marking the debut of Swissôtel Living in Asia, the newly opened Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan, embraces sustainability, vitality, and its promise to Live It Well. Located in the prestigious Mega Kuningan business district, the new address offers a refined sanctuary for extended stays, where wellness, sustainability and culture converge.
Ranging from modern studio apartments to spacious one- and two-bedroom accommodations, the 240 living spaces cater to all Haven Seekers-offering peace of mind and space. Facilities designed to elevate body and mind include a restaurant, and for those keen on maintaining a balanced mind and healthy body, the gym and swimming pool provide the perfect space to recharge and stay full of vitality.
Future Accor Hotel Openings
2026: Rimrock Banff to join Emblems Collection – Canada: Rimrock Banff, one of the most iconic retreats in the Canadian Rockies, is poised to redefine mountain luxury as the first Emblems Collection property in North America. The resort will undergo a fully transformative renovation beginning in October 2025 and will reopen in summer 2026 as a flagship for Accor’s newest luxury collection brand, blending its storied legacy with a visionary redesign. Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection will be a serene mountain retreat where nature and luxury exist in perfect harmony. At the heart of this new chapter are enhanced experiences focusing on wellness, connection, and sensory-rich dining, with new restaurant and bar experiences drawing inspiration from the land and seasons, as well as the stories of Banff.
2025: ibis Styles Nantes Saint-Herblain – France: Located in the largest suburb of the city of Nantes, ibis Styles Nantes Saint-Herblain will offer 54 rooms comprising of standard, superior and family rooms in addition to three meeting rooms which will appeal to business travellers. In true ibis Style’s theme, the hotel’s unique design will be centred around California in the 60’s. The hotel will also feature a wellness space which include a hammam, sauna, swimming pool and a fitness room and an exterior swimming pool. A light grab-and-go / snacking offer will be available to guests.
2028: ibis Styles Wörgl – Austria: ibis Styles Wörgl will mark the brands debut in the Austrian Alps as Accor and tristar, drive the strategic growth of the ibis brand family with this new project in the DACH region. Both partners will bring the internationally renowned ibis Styles brand to the Austrian mountain destination of Wörgl. Located at the newly emerging city centre, ibis Styles Wörgl will feature 104 rooms and a breakfast restaurant, with unique design storytelling as a core element of the ibis Styles guest experience. With three skiing areas, various outdoor activities amid the Austrian Alps, and close proximity to sought-after cities such as Kitzbühel and Innsbruck, Wörgl is well-positioned as a leisure destination.
