Albania Welcomes Pullman and Swissôtel
Accor is broadening its premium offerings in Albania with two new projects: Pullman Durrës and Swissôtel Shengjin, set to launch in 2028 and 2027, respectively. These announcements represent the initial introduction of both brands in the country, enhancing the currently functioning Mövenpick Hotel Lalëz Durrës and strengthening Accor’s dedication to developing Albania’s hospitality sector.
Albania is becoming more recognized as a leisure destination, attracting nearly 12 million visitors in 2024, and establishing itself as one of the fastest-growing stars of Mediterranean tourism. Accor’s expansion leverages this momentum, following the recent openings of Mercure Tirana, Mövenpick Hotel Lalëz Durrës, and the second Mercure Tirana, signaling the group’s long-term commitment to the region.

In collaboration with Rock of Kavaja shpk, Pullman Durrës will feature 184 rooms offering panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the recognizable Rock of Kavaja. The hotel will embody Pullman’s philosophy of blended travel, harmonizing business and leisure in innovative, design-forward environments. This property is set to be a premier destination along the Adriatic coast. Guests at Pullman Durrës will have access to a spa and wellness center, both indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant serving all-day dining, a rooftop lounge, MICE facilities, and a casino.
Swissôtel Shengjin: Swiss Precision on the Albanian Coast
In partnership with DUKAGJINI GROUP SHPK, Swissôtel Shengjin will debut in Albania. Located on a stretch of the northern Adriatic coast, this 140-room hotel will blend design with its natural environment, providing guests with a setting of comfort, energy, and top-notch service. Each room will feature views of the sea.
Guests will enjoy access to a private beach and a 280-meter pier featuring lounge areas, floating platforms, and an underground nightclub. Additionally, there will be a wellness center offering a gym, spa, and both indoor and outdoor pools. Dining options include a signature restaurant, rooftop dining, and a casual poolside bar, along with modern conference and executive spaces.
