The discussions focused on enhancing institutional capacity and advancing national priorities, including the development of sustainable aviation fuels.

Accompanied by ICAO officials Mohamed Rahma and Fabio Rabbani, the delegation held further meetings with the leadership of Panama’s Civil Aviation Authority to address regulatory compliance, workforce development, airspace modernisation, and oversight improvements.

The visit reaffirmed Panama’s alignment with global aviation standards and its collaboration with ICAO to support the region’s aviation growth.
