Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier, has expanded its fleet to 12 Airbus A320 aircraft with the addition of two new planes. The airline plans to add two more aircraft by the end of 2025, aiming to increase its total operational capacity by 40%.
This expansion aligns with the airline’s growth strategy to enhance operational efficiency and network reach. The additional capacity is expected to support Abu Dhabi’s economic development and tourism goals.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, stated: “Our fleet expansion reflects our commitment to meeting growing demand and supporting Abu Dhabi’s broader economic and tourism objectives, while continuing to provide affordable travel options.”
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi currently serves over 30 destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, and Eastern Europe. The airline has recently expanded its network with routes to Yerevan, Almaty, and Sialkot, reinforcing its role in enhancing the capital’s air connectivity since its 2020 launch.
