Etihad Airways Expands Network with Seven Strategic New Destinations for 2025-2026
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has announced the addition of seven new destinations as part of its ongoing strategy to grow point-to-point traffic directly to Abu Dhabi.
The new routes – Almaty, Baku, Bucharest, Medina, Tbilisi, Tashkent, and Yerevan – will enhance Abu Dhabi’s connections to key markets across Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Services will start from November 2025 through March 2026.
These additions bring Etihad’s total new destinations for 2025 to 27, alongside recently launched routes such as Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, and Atlanta.
Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves commented:
“These routes connect Abu Dhabi to culturally and economically important cities, supporting both tourism and trade. Our expanding network aligns with Abu Dhabi’s growth ambitions and broadens travel options for both leisure and business passengers.”
Earlier this month, Etihad also revealed three seasonal summer destinations for 2026: Kraków, Salalah, and Kazan.
