Emirates Opens First Travel Store in Japan, in Osaka
Emirates has opened its first dedicated travel store in Japan, located in Osaka. The store aims to bring its services closer to customers in the Kansai region.
The opening ceremony was attended by Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice President – Passenger Sales and Country Management; Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture; and Shihab Alfaheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan. Emirates senior management, guests, and media partners were also present.
Located in Osaka’s busy commercial area, the 110-square-meter store provides a space for customers to plan their trips. A multilingual team offers assistance with flight bookings, travel advice, and itinerary planning for both Japanese and international customers.
The store is designed for comfort, with lounge seating, modern furnishings, and a calm atmosphere. It also features a self-service kiosk, a queue management system, and a selfie mirror with destination-themed backgrounds.
At the opening, Nabil Sultan said, “Japan is an important market for Emirates, and this new store allows us to serve customers in the Kansai region more directly. It reflects our focus on customer service and engagement.”
Emirates operates daily flights to Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, and Tokyo Haneda, using aircraft equipped with upgraded products.
The Emirates Osaka Travel Store is open Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.
