Air India Begins Resumption of Flights to Middle East and Europe as Airspace Restrictions Ease
Air India has begun the phased resumption of flight operations to the Middle East and Europe, following the easing of airspace restrictions in certain regions. Flights to and from the Middle East are being progressively restored starting today, with most scheduled services expected to operate from 25 June 2025.
Flights to and from Europe, which were previously suspended, are also being reinstated in a phased manner starting today. Additionally, Air India is actively working to resume services to and from the East Coast of the United States and Canada at the earliest available opportunity.
Due to ongoing rerouting requirements and longer flight durations, some services may face delays or cancellations. The airline is working to limit disruptions and gradually return to regular operations.
Air India will continue to monitor airspace developments and will avoid routes that are currently assessed as unsafe, based on guidance from relevant authorities and safety assessments.
Passengers will be updated on changes to flight schedules through official channels. Air India appreciates the understanding and cooperation of its customers during this time.
