APPOINTMENT
Omni Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Terrance Kelly as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita, the brand’s highly anticipated property set to debut in Mexico. Coinciding with this announcement, the resort will start accepting group bookings on July 1, 2025, ahead of its opening in early 2027.

Terrance Kelly brings over two decades of luxury hospitality experience to the role, along with a proven track record of driving revenue, enhancing brand visibility, and delivering transformative strategies. Most recently, Terrance Kelly served as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and W Miami, where he delivered profitable results through strategic thinking and decisive leadership.
In his new role, Terrance Kelly will lead Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita’s pre-opening sales and marketing efforts, building a high-performing team and crafting the brand voice that positions the resort as a premier group and incentive destination in the region. He has also held key positions at Marriott International and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he spent more than 15 years in sales and operational roles in top global markets.
Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita will feature 246 ocean-view guest rooms and suites, three pools, a full-service spa, and multiple dining venues. Designed to highlight the natural surroundings and cultural elements of the region, the property will also offer wellness and cultural programming aimed at providing guests with a connection to the local community and environment. The resort is part of the brand’s continued expansion in Latin America and reflects its focus on delivering hospitality experiences in key leisure destinations.
