APPOINTMENT
Udaipur Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Tapan Mudgal as its new Director of Food & Beverage. In this key role, Tapan will spearhead the F&B operations across the 226-key property, overseeing all restaurants, lounges, and banqueting venues. As the appointed Director of Food and Beverage, he will also manage a team of over 90 associates and be responsible for improving guest experiences, maintaining quality standards, and driving revenue through exceptional service and culinary innovation.

Having over 18 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Tapan brings extensive knowledge of F&B operations. He has held leadership roles at renowned properties like Jaipur Marriott, JW Marriott Chandigarh, InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram, and Fairmont Jaipur. He has been associated with Udaipur Marriott since its pre-opening phase in January 2025 and played a key role in operational setup and team development.
Recognised for his focus on guest satisfaction, financial performance, and service excellence, Tapan has led several high-profile events, including IPL catering, marquee weddings, and General Managers’ Conferences. His approach blends creativity with operational discipline, earning him industry-wide respect.
