Raffles Welcomes Shanghai’s Peace Hotel

Accor and Jinjiang International Group have unveiled a new chapter for the iconic Peace Hotel, cherished as one of Shanghai’s treasured landmarks. Initially constructed in 1929 by Sir Victor Sassoon as the Cathay Hotel, this art deco gem has been under Jinjiang Group’s ownership since 1984 and joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2010. The renowned hotel will remain operational throughout its transformation. It will launch in 2027 as the Raffles Peace Hotel Shanghai, a flagship collection featuring the Raffles Singapore and the Raffles London at The OWO.
