Air India’s Campaign Spotlights India’s Progress

Air India Unveils ‘There Is An Air About India’ Campaign To Celebrate The Spirit Of A Rising Nation

Air India has launched a new campaign, ‘There is an Air About India,’ celebrating a new India. This campaign features an OOH segment, print advertisements, and a digital film, embodying the spirit of a nation on the rise that Air India is proud to showcase globally.

Created in collaboration with McCann, the digital film features a rap-style soundtrack by music director Sneha Khanwalkar, with vocals from up-and-coming rapper Aarya Jadhao. It melds storytelling, transitions, and visuals, reflecting the essence of India, from metropolitan areas to its rural landscapes heartlands.

Every beat and verse interlaces in the rich cultural tapestry of India, encompassing its colours, cuisines, communities, and aspirations. Transitioning from traditional performances and spiritual motifs to contemporary skylines and global dreams, the narrative culminates in a resonant refrain: “There is an Air about India,” which Air India proudly showcases worldwide.

Since rejoining the Tata group in 2022, Air India has undergone a five-year transformation—Vihaan.AI—aimed at becoming a world-class global airline that aligns with the aspirations of a new India.

India boasts one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets, with the number of airports having doubled over the past decade and more than 350 million passengers flying last year. Air India aims to create an airline that embodies India’s warmth, ambition, and spirit. To achieve this, the airline has placed orders for 570 new aircraft, is investing $400 million in retrofitting its legacy fleet, and has established South Asia’s largest aviation training academy, an MRO facility and a flying school. Air India takes pride in leading this transformation in Indian aviation.
