Mark Potter, Managing Director Etihad Guest, said, “This challenge embodies Etihad’s purpose to give flight to ambition. We’re inviting our adventurous members and travellers to explore 15 incredible destinations while competing for our largest-ever miles prize.”

The top three positions will be awarded to the first three Etihad Guest members who finish The Extraordinary Challenge. The First winner will earn five million Etihad Guest miles, Second place will receive three million miles, and Third place will get one million miles.

Etihad Guest miles can be used for flights, holidays, and a wide selection of products from the Etihad Guest Reward Shop, transforming miles into memorable rewards and experiences. Five million Etihad Guest miles could provide over 500 Economy flights, more than 70 Business trips, or upwards of 40 extraordinary journeys in First Class.

Etihad Guest members taking on the challenge can track their progress on a specialized race dashboard, which includes a digital passport that gets stamped with every destination visited. This feature motivates participants to continue traveling and reap rewards for every significant achievement. Additionally, the live leaderboard shows members their ranking compared to others, fostering friendly competition within a community of like-minded, enthusiastic travelers vying for the ultimate prize.

This challenge invites all Etihad Guest members, whether new or existing, to join and compete for a chance to win. To enter the competition, members of the airline’s loyalty program must register through the provided link to track their progress and be eligible for the prize.

To win, guests must take an Etihad-operated flight to or from each of the new destinations: Addis Ababa, Algiers, Atlanta, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Krabi, Medan, Peshawar, Phnom Penh, Prague, Sochi, Taipei, Tunis, and Warsaw by May 25, 2026.
